Courtney Akimi Yasuda is a digital illustrator & storyboard artist based in Connecticut. She graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media, Art, and Communication. At RPI, she specialized in Digital Storytelling and Visual Development. Since graduating,

In the past, she’s worked as a freelance illustrator and marketing consultant within the fields of health sciences, e-commerce, and education. In 2021, she co-founded Mercat Studio with her creative partner-in-crime and began selling physical prints and merchandise at shows around the U.S. She has a passion for game design and comics, which she is constantly developing new ideas for.

She can be found at local aquariums during her free time, doing her absolute best to establish a mental link with the various fish.
